For text professionals and book clubs

Peer-to-peer coaching, lectures, workshops in narrative theory & analysis, literary translation & editing, and possibilities for private tutoring and mentorships – The Literary Translators’ Atelier aims to enhance the craftsmanship of professionals in the book trade, as well as their situation. We invite nonprofessional book lovers to join us, to create understanding of the various professions within our trade and to gain from their expertise and feedback.

We set up Ateliers on location. We work in close collaboration with the Auteursbond (the Dutch Authors’ Guild), the Expertisecentrum Literair Vertalen (Centre of Expertise on Literary Translation), and the Vlaamse Auteursvereniging (the Flemish Authors’ Association).
